Intense Reactions and a Peaceful Session

It had been raining heavily since yesterday morning.

Chiba seems to be hit by this kind of heavy rain quite often these days.

Despite the weather, a longtime client came to Shisui Bettei with her parents.

This was the second time she had brought them.

For her father, it was his lower back last time and his knee this time.

His knee hurt badly enough that he needed painkillers.

Her mother has rheumatoid arthritis, and her back has become hunched.

I am still looking for something I might be able to do for her.

When I began the session, something about the father’s chest caught my attention.

I wondered whether pesticides might be involved, so I asked about it.

His daughter said,

“Maybe it’s because he uses pesticides without even wearing a mask.”

I have no way of confirming whether that had anything to do with his physical condition.

Still, his body reacted intensely when I barely touched him.

In contrast, neither the mother nor the daughter showed much of a reaction, and their sessions ended without incident.

The following day, which was today, I contacted them to ask how he was doing. Apparently, just like last time, the father said, “That was quite an ordeal.”

But he also said that his knee was no longer hurting.

Today, unusually, a new KaradaNaoru client came to Shisui Bettei.

Several clients have visited this place before, but most of them were people who had already received sessions from me elsewhere.

The man who came today appeared to be carrying various concerns.

I spoke about some of my own experiences and tried to help those concerns begin to loosen.

His main complaint had been stiffness in his shoulders. After the session, he was pleased to say that he could no longer feel it.

There was no intense reaction.

It was a very peaceful session.

During my sessions, some people occasionally react as intensely as the father did.

In my experience, this often happens when I sense something that does not seem to belong in the person’s body.

Sometimes I think of the possible effects of pesticides or medication. At other times, I sense something like energy from outside or another person’s emotions.

It may sound strange for the person giving the session to say “I sense” or “it seems,” but these things cannot be objectively confirmed, so I cannot say more than that.

This is simply my personal view, based on the sessions I have given over the years.

I think human beings live in sympathy with those around them and are affected by them.

When we carry something that is not our own, it may interfere with the body’s natural way of functioning.

I try to help the body move away from whatever may be interfering with it.

That does not mean I deliberately try to cause intense reactions.

A stronger reaction is not necessarily better.

Whether my interpretation is correct matters less than how the person feels afterward.

If possible, I hope to continue offering sessions as peaceful as the one I gave today.
