The Story Behind the Birth of KaradaNaoru (5)I Don’t Treat Diseases. I See the Person.

My name is Yuki Matsuoka, founder of KaradaNaoru.

Having worked with more than 3,000 people through my bodywork practice, I often find myself returning to the same realization.

People frequently ask me:

“Can you cure cancer?”

“Can you cure leukemia?”

Whenever I hear these questions, I find myself thinking the same thing.

I am not looking at the disease.

I am looking at the person.

Symptoms Alone Tell Me Very Little

No two people are the same, even if they share the same diagnosis.

I want to know:

* What kind of life has this person lived?

* What environment are they living in?

* What relationships surround them?

Until I actually meet them, I know very little.

That is why I honestly cannot answer the question:

“Can you cure this condition?”

Because the condition is not what I am looking at.

The person is.

Changes That Are Difficult to Explain

I understand that a broken bone does not medically heal overnight.

Yet I have seen people who arrived dependent on crutches leave carrying those same crutches under their arms.

I have seen people with torn shoulder tendons raise their arms again after being unable to do so.

Of course, this does not happen every time.

And I would never claim otherwise.

But it does happen.

So the question remains:

What exactly is happening?

I Want to Understand It Too

The truth is, I want to know.

I genuinely want to understand why these changes occur.

That is why I hope to continue gathering evidence and documenting observations as objectively as possible.

At the same time, there is one thing I know for certain:

I cannot guarantee outcomes.

If I were to say,

“Buy this vase and you will become happy,”

or

“As long as you continue making offerings, your happiness will continue,”

then I would no longer be practicing bodywork.

I would be creating a religion.

That is not what I want.

Why “Miracle Healers” Are Rarely Reproduced

There are many practitioners who are called “miracle healers.”

Some of them achieve extraordinary results.

But I often wonder:

Why are their students rarely able to reproduce those same results?

They touch the same places.

They use the same angles.

They apply the same techniques.

And yet the outcomes are often very different.

Why?

The Invisible Part Matters

My conclusion is simple.

The practitioner’s state of mind matters.

Their presence matters.

Their intention matters.

Their awareness matters.

In other words, the invisible aspects of a person influence the outcome far more than most people realize.

That is why, in KaradaNaoru training programs, we begin not with technique, but with awareness.

Technique can be learned later.

But the way we meet another human being is a far deeper issue.

The Story of Milton Erickson

There is a famous story about the American psychotherapist Milton Erickson.

He once worked with a patient who was almost completely paralyzed, able to move only one eyelid.

According to the story, Erickson helped that person stand up and walk without ever physically touching them.

Many people hear that story and are astonished.

I am not.

We Underestimate Human Potential

Human beings consistently underestimate themselves.

Their bodies.

Their minds.

Their resilience.

Their life force.

What practitioners do is not to give people something they lack.

Rather, we help remove what stands in the way of what is already there.

We create conditions that allow a person’s own capacity to emerge.

When that happens, results often follow naturally.

At least, that is the understanding I have arrived at after all these years.
